Our Story
When we first set out on our entrepreneurial journey, we had two other co-founders and were working on something completely different. Our startup, Nuemow, was meant to be the Uber of landscaping—yes, we were determined to keep the "new" theme going 🙂. But as interest rates climbed in 2023, scaling became a serious challenge, and by the end of the year, we had to shut Nuemow down.With our co-founders moving on to other ventures, we found ourselves at a crossroads: do we give up on our startup dreams or push forward? We chose to push forward, but we needed a new direction. Our curiosity about Generative AI, sparked by the launch of ChatGPT, led us to dive into the potential of LLM technology. While running Nuemow, we noticed a major issue landscapers on our platform faced: managing calls and texts without a dedicated team.For small business owners, the phone can feel like a ball and chain—missing a call often means losing business. This was especially tough for landscapers who couldn't always pick up the phone while on the job. To tackle this, we decided to build software that could handle and follow up on missed calls, making life easier by leveraging GenAI technology.Our solution, NewMIGO, lets small business owners break free from constantly answering the phone. The software follows up on missed calls, collects customer details, and sends a summary to the owner. They can then decide if a call needs immediate attention or if it can wait until Monday.We're still in the early stages with NewMIGO, but our mission is clear: to provide crucial support to small business owners. We want to offer them tech tools that were once only available to big companies, helping them thrive without being tied to their phones 24/7.
